Crocodile tears? Kim Kardashian breaks down

All it missed out on were the three famous words in showbiz: ‘that’s all folks’.

Yes, if you haven’t guessed it as yet, we are talking about Kim Kardashian’s waterworks, which concluded the latest season of “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” ¬ a show that has taken the world by storm in its recent dramatic revelations of the socialite’s doomed 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.

On Sunday’s finale the 31-year-old Kardashian finally breaks down and tells sister Kourtney that her marriage simply could not be saved.

“It’s hard for me. He’s a good heart; he’s a Christian… Everything on paper I want in someone, but for some reason, my heart isn’t connecting,” comes the first bullet out of her arsenal.

Kardashian then continues in between sobs: “I feel awful that I made him move out here and change his whole life.

“I feel sad, I feel bad for the guy. He fell in love with me and I fell in love with him and now all my feelings have changed.”

Looking for support from her family, the bawling continued with Kardashian drawing reference to her $20 million wedding on August 20, 2011, saying: “I invited all these people to this huge wedding and flew everyone out, wasted everyone’s time and everyone’s money ¬ everyone’s everything – and I feel bad!

“At 30 years old, I thought I’d be married with kids and I’m not. I failed at this,” she continued. “People change their minds, people make mistakes.”

The show’s ratings are probably going through the roof as the build up to the break-up on the reality TV show was being advertised and milked for all its worth in the last few weeks.

However, the “KKTNY” star has also been witnessing a series of setbacks and backlash since she filed for divorce from her NBA-star husband, with critics claiming that the marriage was one big publicity stunt to begin with.

Even while Kardashian zipped into Dubai last year in October, accompanied by her mother Kris Jenner, the socialite gushed about her husband at the press conference, talking about starting a family soon.

But tune into the show, and a scene filmed in Dubai depicting a private conversation between mother and daughter in a blacked-out car sees Kardashian confiding that she isn’t too keen to return home and be with her husband.

Of course, the follow up controversy embroiling that particular scene has alleged that the scene was actually filmed nearly a month after she filed for divorce, with photographic evidence showing the duo outside a studio in Los Angeles on December 6, carrying and wearing the same outfits, with the same makeup and hair.

Kim escaped marriage blues in UAE

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian unleashes her fury about her failing marriage in the Dubai episode of ‘Kourtney And Kim Take New York’

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian unleashes her fury about her failing marriage in the Dubai episode of ‘Kourtney And Kim Take New York’.

The show, filmed before her 72-day marriage ended in October, plays up tension between Kardashian and new husband, Kris Humphries, who was left behind in New York while she launched a milkshake store in Dubai.

“He’s so jealous that he couldn’t come,” she tells the audience, revealing that it was “a huge weight lifted off my shoulders” to be in Dubai and away from Humphries. “I’m back to myself. I’m really enjoying this feeling,” she added. Her comments came when asked by a journalist if her husband will be coming to Dubai.

There was a long pause while the camera zooms in on Kardashian’s apparent discomfort. Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, who accompanied her on the trip, looks on anxiously before her daughter answers. Kardashian then launches into a long complaint about married life and her need for “time away from my husband”.

Body language expert, Patti Wood MA, said Kardashian’s body language in the clip where she speaks about her doubts is not convincing. “Her voice doesn’t match her emotions, her body doesn’t match her emotions,” Wood said.

“When she says there is a huge weight lifted from her body, she doesn’t reflect that in her movements. Normally people signify that feeling by relaxing their shoulders or closing their eyes, but she does none of that.”

Wood believes Kim’s mother also looks fake as she nods her head in concern as her daughter speaks. “It all seems created for drama, not for real emotion,” she said.
