Kim Kardashian visited her divorce lawyer Laura Wasser in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 24, 2012) after her ex-husband Kris Humphries claimed he "knew" that the reality star cheated with rapper Kanye West, whom she is now dating. The 31-year-old didn't waste any time seeking legal advice over the claims, and arrived at Wasser's house carrying a large black handbag, reports the UK's Daily Mail.
Kardashian spent hours at the lawyer's home and left after it was dark. Wasser is one of Hollywood's most prominent attorneys and has represented celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Mariah Carey and Ryan Reynolds. Kris Humphries allegedly told his former lover Myla Sinanaj that his mother-in-law Kris Jenner would refer to Kanye as a "close family friend". Kris told Myla, "If he was such a close family friend, why wasn't he invited to the wedding?". TMZ.com report that when Humphries listened to Kanye's song Theraflu - which references the couple's marriage - he became "visibly upset". Last year, Kanye's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose accused Kim (while dating Reggie Bush) of stealing the rapper from her, telling Star magazine, "She's a homewrecker! They were both cheating. They were both cheating on me and Reggie with each other".
Kim's stepfather Bruce Jenner admitted to Oprah Winfrey that he wishes they could take back Kardashian's nuptials with the NBA player. The couple married in a lavish ceremony in Montecito, California, but split after just 72 days.
